PGHS Activities Calendar

Are you looking for an opportunity for community service hours?   Elk Grove’s TOP Soccer could use your help.  We are looking for buddy soccer players to help special needs soccer teams in our area.  Practice has already started for many teams, and it’s okay to choose one practice or come to them all.  Practices are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6-7pm.  Games will be starting September 10th-  November 12th  and will run from 9-11am.   Please see Mrs. Mullins in HK9 if you would like to sign up to help.

This year’s Varsity football team has been invited to play in the Under Armour Brothers in Arms Classic on Saturday, August 27th.  The game will be held at Ventura College in Ventura, California.  We will be competing against Bakersfield High School @5pm.  We have given up one of our home games this year in order to play in this game which is for a great cause.  The Brothers in Arms organization donated 200 tickets to PG; tickets are being sold at $10 each which will help cover the costs of the trip. Please contact Mr. Rossow in Room HJ4 or 686-0230 (x4821) for tickets or if you would like to make a donation to support this event.  Thank you for your support.
