If you would like to help to create the optional "Welcome Back" broadcast for the first day of school, email Ms. Brown at rebrown@egusd.net to check out equipment! 

 

You would need to be available 8/4-8/10 to capture moments during ASB Workdays, Staff Pre-Service Days, and to interview Mr. Meyer. 

 

If you would like to go the extra mile, please consider interviewing athletes or club leaders over the break. That way, we'll have a jump start on the 1st Broadcast scheduled for 9/8!

Message from Mr. Sandoval: 

 

 

The Chocolate is here guys! 

 

This Field Trip is AMAZING, if you haven't spoken with your parents about it, do so now!

 

If you missed the meeting, that's perfectly okay. The cost of the trip is $375, which includes room and board, along with all shows and workshops. 

 

Some of my best memories in all of High School took place on this trip, and I would love to share that experience with all of you. 

 

Now to the important stuff, for every box of chocolate you sell, you will receive $30 toward the cost of your trip. For example if you set your goal to sell a box a week until school starts, you will be at $300. Ask your parents to sell them at work, this is one of the easiest ways to sell!

 

Ms. Brown will be on campus for summer school, and would gladly meet with you (by appointment), just shoot her a LoopMail to schedule that anytime during the week to pick up a box. I will be here on Mondays (if necessary) to hand out Chocolate from 11:00-12:00. 

 

Before taking a box, you will sign an form acknowledging that you are responsible for the chocolate!

 

It's perfectly likely I didn't add everyone who would be interested in this trip, tell your friends (taking Theater next year) about this opportunity! Also, tell your friends, as it's also possible many students won't be checking SchoolLoop.

PG STUDENTS UNDER AGE 18 - IF YOU GET A JOB AND NEED A WORK PERMIT DURING THE SUMMER PLEASE FILL OUT A “WORK PERMIT REQUEST FORM” (SEE ATTACHED) AND BRING THE COMPLETED APPLICATION TO THE PG ADMINISTRATION OFFICE. AS LONG AS YOUR APPLICATION IS COMPLETE, PG STAFF WILL DO THEIR BEST TO ISSUE YOU A WORK PERMIT WHILE YOU WAIT.

ADMINISTRATION OFFICE SUMMER HOURS (5/27-7/29), Monday-Thursday, 8:00-1:00. (NOTE: OFFICE IS CLOSED THE WEEK OF 7/4-7/8).

VERY IMPORTANT!!! -PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU FILL OUT THE FORM COMPLETELY INCLUDING SOCIAL SECURITY #, EMPLOYER'S SIGNATURE/INFO AREA, ETC....SO THAT PROCESSING OF YOUR FORM WILL NOT BE DELAYED!!! PERMITS MUST BE PICKED UP BY THE STUDENT. WORK PERMITS ISSUED WILL BE GOOD THROUGH 9/30/16. THANK YOU.
